Spending Time In Hawaii

A Lacrosse Vacation Like No Other

One of the best parts of the Hawaii Lacrosse tournament is spending a long weekend (or more) in paradise. Hawaii is truly one of the most beautiful places on earth and is a big reason why we have so many returning participants every year.

The games are played only a block from scenic beaches and the beautiful waters of Hawaii. It’s common for competitors to go for a quick dip in the ocean or surf in between games, or just relax under a palm tree enjoying some of the most perfect weather in the world.

Our generous partners make it easy and affordable to travel to the Hawaii Lacrosse Tournament to enjoy an extended stay in paradise.

Discounted Lodging at Aqua Hotels

We are very pleased to announce that once again our friends and partner at Aqua Hotels and Resorts have agreed to provide attendees and their guests discounted room rates at any and all Waikiki area hotels.

Aqua Hotels is offering a 15% discount for tournament attendees. Use the promo code HILACROSSE15 when you book online, or mention the code over the phone to receive the discount. The discounted rate is applicable for reservations for the week leading up to and the week following the tournament.

We recommend staying at either Park Shore Waikiki, Aqua Queen Kapiolani or the Ewa Hotel Waikiki (least expensive) which are all very close to the field and social events.

There may also be some more inexpensive hotels listed on the Aqua website which are still just a short walk away. You may want to check the link to Aqua Hotels and Resorts that is pasted below to better understand the amenities, views and locations of each hotel.

In order to secure the best possible rates, we highly recommend that you confirm your reservations as soon as possible.

Tips For Travel to Oahu
  • Book flights to Honolulu International Airport (HNL) on Oahu. The tournament takes place at Kapiolani Park in Waikiki. If you fly into Maui, Kauai or Big Island it is a very long swim to get to Oahu!
  • 95% of Oahu’s hotels are located in Waikiki. You’ll find a plethora of restaurants, bars and nightlife there. Additionally, Kapiolani Park is just a walk or short cab ride from hotels in Waikiki.
  • Much of Oahu’s natural beauty may be found outside of Waikiki. There are wonderful activities, some resorts and other accommodations outside of Waikiki.
  • Many people who have not frequented the island of Oahu say the roads are not intuitive. You may want to consider adding a GPS service to your rental car, an option now available with some rental agencies.
  • Consider using the following website for planning your trips on the bus
