Tournament

The Hawaii Lacrosse Tournament is attended by some of the top players in the world including MLL superstars. Teams in the men’s elite, masters, and grandmasters will have the opportunity to take the field against the games current and past greats. Past tournament attendees included the Thompson brothers, Paul Rabil, and Gary Gait (to name a few!).
Our annual tournament is truly an international event, attracting men’s and women’s teams from Hawaii, the US mainland, Canada, Japan, and Europe. It is a favorite event of hundreds of players around the world. Our goal is for all teams to have an unforgettable experience year after year with competitive games, epic nightlife and social events, all hosted with aloha in one of the most beautiful places on earth. We offer six divisions to accommodate adult lacrosse players ages 18 and up.

  • Men’s Grand Masters – 40+
  • Men’s Legends – 50+
  • Men’s Kupuna – 60+
  • Wahine (Women’s) Division – 18+

We’ve partnered with our San Diego friends to make it an October to remember. Team Leaders, register and pay for both Hawaii Invitational Tournaments and SD Jam by the Sea and you’ll receive $200 back at the conclusion of the Hawaii Tournament.

  • 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM – Men’s Elite, Masters, & Grand Masters
  • 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM Opening Party – The Deck, Queen Kapiolani Hotel

Saturday, October 28th

  • 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM – Men’s Elite, Masters, Grand Masters & Women’s Division Games
  • 7:00 PM-11:00 PM Pau Hana & Tavana Concert – The Modern Honolulu

Sunday, October 29th

  • 9:00 AM – Men’s & Women’s Division Games Resume
  • 9:00 AM – Girl’s Youth Clinic
  • 11:00 AM – Men’s Elite Semi-Finals
  • 11:30 AM – Women’s Final
  • 11:30 AM – Boy’s Youth Clinic led by Anthony Kelly and Team Wimmer Solutions
  • 12:00 PM – Men’s Legends Final
  • 1:00 PM – Men’s Masters Final
  • 2:00 PM – Men’s Grandmasters Final
  • 4:00 PM – Men’s Elite Final
  • 5:00 PM – Awards Ceremony, immediately following Men’s Elite Final – Main Tent
  • 9:00 PM – Closing Halloween Party at Lulu’s Waikiki Surf Club – Wear A Costume!

Friday

October 27th

Opening Party

Join us at The Deck, an outdoor bar overlooking Diamondhead and Kapiolani Park as we kick-off our tournament weekend. Enjoy music, aloha, drink specials, and food to order while you meet all of the weekend’s competitors.

Saturday

October 28th

Pau Hana and Tavana Concert

  • 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM
  • The Modern Honolulu
  • 1775 Ala Moana Blvd.
  • Music by local artist, Tavana
The term “pau hana” literally means “done work” and is a time for socializing with friends and family. Join us at the Modern for live music by local musician Tavana, drinks, and food for purchase at this indoor/outdoor venue.

Sunday

October 29th

Closing Halloween Costume Party at Lulu’s Waikiki – Live music by Twin Fin

Don’t forget to pack a costume! Our most notorious social event and closing party will be filled with drinks, music, dancing and overall debauchery. Lulu’s will be providing a 25% discount off all players’ checks all weekend long, just mention you are here for the Hawaii Lacrosse Tournament and spread the aloha to your teammates. The real fun will begin at 9 PM to give our team a chance to pack up the field and change into costumes, but feel free to come early, grab food, and listen to local artists jam prior to the event.

Rules

All women’s games will be played following US Lacrosse Rules. All men’s games will be played under modified international rules. Games during the group stage are 2 twenty minute halves. This format is modified during the semifinals and finals to allow for more time for elimination matches. Tie games will be decided with sudden victory overtime. Detailed Rules
